Yamakami Kaju Yakusen has just received new products, Citrus Liqueur Iyokan 12% and Citrus Cordiale Le Iyokan.
Iyokan fruit, which still has plenty of flavor after the outer skin is scraped off and pressed, is mixed with cane sugar and yeast and fermented. The fermented juice is distilled into a spirit and blended with Iyokan fruit juice, concentrated Iyokan syrup, and essential oil to make "Citrus Liqueur Iyokan 12%". The original liqueur is infused with an abundance of Iyokan citrus flavor. The skinless pressed Iyokan citrus juice, pressed without the outer skin, gives it a rich flavor and acidity, while the concentrated syrup gives it a mouthwatering sweetness.
This liqueur is not only sweet, but also has a pleasant aftertaste. Try it on the rocks to taste the whole Iyokan flavor. If you want to drink it slowly, chill it and drink it straight. If you want to drink it with carbonated water, you can adjust the strength to your liking.
The concentrated syrup that gives the liqueur its mouthwatering sweetness is "Citrus Cordial Iyokan". After pressing, Iyokan citrus is layered with glacial sugar and stirred for four days without heat to produce an aromatic candied mixture of the rich sweetness unique to Iyokan citrus and the uncluttered sweetness of glacial sugar. Slowly pressurizing it and squeezing it out is the Citrus Cordial Iyokan.
First, please drink it 5 to 7 times with water or carbonated water. Another delicious way to drink or eat it is to mix it with milk or soy milk, pour it over plain yogurt, vanilla ice cream, or shaved ice in mid-summer. Both adults and children can enjoy it together.
