Matsuyama Oil and Fat has commercialized a pouch that functions just like a bottle under the name FLEX Pouch ( ). It is used as a container for body soap, shampoo, conditioner, and hand soap. It is not a refillable container. It is a new container that can be used in combination with commercially available bottle holders by directly inserting a pump.
The commercialization of the FLEX Pouch began with a "think when you throw it away" approach: the FLEX Pouch can reduce plastic waste by 49.4% compared to a 400-mL bottle of the same product. In the future, we also plan to use the FLEX Pouch as a container for selling products by weight. The bottles will not be used and discarded, and the time and effort of refilling them will be reduced. We propose the FLEX Pouch as a product that fits today's values and lifestyles, with both environmental friendliness and convenience, and a design that is comfortable to use every day.
