Straight, 100% mikan juice from late-maturing Juman Unshu trees. The Juman Unshu variety is unique to the village of Sanagochi in Tokushima (Shikoku). Yamagami Citrus & Herb Garden grows them with organic fertilizer using absolutely no herbicides. The fruit is allowed to ripen on the tree during the winter to increase sugar content. Juice is pressed with peel intact, but there is almost no noticeable bitterness because of the uniquely refreshing flavor of Japanese citrus and the concentrated sweetness of the juice itself. Juman juice is rich and complex with an enjoyable finish. It is only available on a seasonal basis during winter and spring.
