Teak, because of its high oil content, is characteristically resistant to water, and well-aged teak not only differs from the new wood in its darker color but also is even more water resistant and stronger. Soap dishes are used in environments where much water is used, so we reprocess old Thai teak from ships, or the decks of yachts, or pillars and beams from houses that have stood for 50 or 60 years. Available in two types, round and square.
