As skin care becomes a habit, you will notice small changes in your baby's skin and symptoms. Babies feel comfortable and at ease when they are gently touched.
Many of our staff members at Matsuyama Yushi are raising children, and were also in charge of commercializing HADAHUG. Our staff will tell you what you need to know for your baby's skincare routine.

Q: What is proper skincare for babies?
A: We tend to think of "skin care" as applying milky lotion or cream. The truth is that it starts with washing. The important thing is to wash, cleanse, and moisturize.
1. Choose the right cleaning agent for your baby.
HADAHUG's cleaning agent is soap. Soap foam adsorbs dirt well. The foam also rinses off easily, leaving no dirt or cleaning ingredients on the skin. It is a baby-friendly cleaning agent.
2. Washing Lather up thoroughly and wash with a gentle stroking motion.
Whether solid or liquid, lather thoroughly and thoroughly to wash. Remember to wash the neck, wrists, feet, buttocks, and behind the ears carefully, as dirt tends to accumulate there.

Rinse. Are there any rinses left?
Shower with lukewarm water at a low flow. Be careful not to leave any rinsing residue.
4. Wipe. Do not scrub the baby.
After wrapping the baby in a towel, gently press the skin with the palm of your hand to absorb the water droplets.
5. Moisturize. Communication to nurture the skin.
After the bath, apply milky lotion or cream. Warming them slightly with your hands before applying them will make them easier to spread on the skin and help them penetrate the horny layer.

Apply from the stomach to the chest, from the shins to the thighs, and from the bottom to the top. If you feel tightness in the palm of your hand while applying, add more milky lotion or cream.
6. Also during diaper changes.
When the bottom is rough, put a small amount of milky lotion/cream on the wipes before wiping the bottom to relieve irritation. The same goes for wiping drooling or around the mouth after eating baby food.
Q: Why is skin care for babies necessary?
A: Babies are prone to dryness and rough skin. A baby's skin is thin, with low levels of sebum and stratum corneum moisture, and lots of sweat glands relative to the surface area of the skin. Matsuyama Yushi believes that skin care habits are important to keep babies' skin clean and healthy.
Q: My baby's skin started to crack at around 3 months of age. What is the cause?
A: Due to the influence of hormones inherited from the mother, the skin of newborns is active in sebum secretion, but after 3 months, sebum secretion gradually declines. That is why their skin tends to become flaky. This is the time when skin care becomes important.

Q: Why do babies sweat so much? I am worried about heat rash.
A: The number of sweat glands that secrete sweat is fixed from birth. Babies' skin, which is small and has little surface area, is densely covered with sweat glands and sweat easily accumulates. Rashes are caused by the salt in sweat and friction from clothing. Wiping frequently, taking a bath to rinse the skin clean, and using soft materials for clothing are all ways to prevent heat rash.
Please nurture your child's healthy skin with the HADAHUG skin care habit.
