Characteristic Ingredients
- Peach juice ferment: Skin moisturization
- *Lipomyces*/*Prunus persica* (peach) juice ferment lysate extract. This extract is produced by fermenting peach juice. Its primary components are polysaccharides—chains of monosaccharides (such as mannose, galactose, and glucuronic acid)—which possess the ability to retain moisture within the stratum corneum; due to their low molecular weight, they penetrate the skin rapidly. When combined with other moisturizing ingredients, it produces a synergistic effect that boosts the skin's moisture content.
- Herbal infusion: Conditions the skin
- Amachazuru, Gen-no-shoko, and Ancient Rice Infusion (Gynostemma pentaphyllum extract, Geranium thunbergii flower/leaf/stem extract, rice extract, and water). This is an original ingredient from Hokuroku Sousui, created by steeping plants—harvested when their beneficial components are at their peak and dried to concentrate those elements—in groundwater from Mount Fuji, pumped from a depth of 200 meters, to infuse the water with their properties.
- Rice Ferment Filtrate: Skin Moisturizing
- This refers to Japanese sake. Its primary component is amino acids—natural moisturizing factors that play a crucial role in the barrier function of the stratum corneum. By replenishing moisturizing ingredients that include these natural moisturizing factors, the skin retains moisture and is protected against dryness. It is formulated with two types of sake from the Ichinokura Brewery in Miyagi Prefecture.
- Saccharomyces/Rice Bran Ferment Filtrate: Skin moisturizing
- An extract obtained by fermenting rice bran. Rich in vitamins and minerals, it inhibits moisture loss from the stratum corneum and supports the skin's barrier function.
- Rice bran extract: Skin moisturization
- An extract derived from domestically grown purple brown rice. It is rich in anthocyanins, a type of polyphenol. It helps retain moisture in the stratum corneum, giving the skin firmness and a radiant glow.
- Peach leaf extract: Skin moisturizing
- An extract derived from peach leaves grown in Yamanashi Prefecture. It helps prevent the decline of the skin's barrier function and promotes healthy skin.
treatment
After washing your face, remove the mask with clean hands and press it gently against your face so it fits snugly. Leave it on for 5 to 10 minutes, then remove the mask and pat any remaining lotion into your skin with your palms. Afterward, apply a milky lotion or cream to lock in moisture.
