Rosemary amino acid soap-based shampoo
Formulated with three different cleansing ingredients: liquid soap that produces a rich foam, soap base that produces a fine, elastic foam, and amino acid soap (arginine cocoate) that reduces irritation. The foam captures and removes sweat, sebum and waste products, leaving your skin clean and without stickiness. The foam easily washes off with no residual clammy feel. Both hair and scalp have a clean finish with this refreshing soap shampoo.

Recommended for

I'm looking for a shampoo with only soap as a cleaning ingredient.
・I want to make my hair fluffy and voluminous.

All Ingredients

Potassium Soap Base、Water、Alcohol、Glycerin、Soap Base、Arginine Cocoate、Rosmarinus Offcinalis (Rosemary) Leaf Oil、Rosmarinus Officinalis (Rosemary) Leaf Extract、Tocopherol、Sodium Gluconate、Tetrasodium Iminodisuccinate、Hydroxypropyl Methylcellulose

Characteristic Ingredients

Potassium soap base:
This washing ingredient is derived from palm kernel, safflower, and other plants and is slowly burned in a kettle-fired process.

treatment

Pre-wash hair and skin with warm water to remove dirt before use. Apply an appropriate amount to hair and lather well. Rinse thoroughly. After shampooing, use "Rosemary's Amino Acid Smooth Rinse" or "Rosemary's Amino Acid Volume Rinse".

Points to remember when using the shampoo
  • (1) Pre-wash thoroughly.

    (1) Pre-wash thoroughly. Brush and untangle hair, then wash hair and skin well with warm water.

  • ②Gently wash with plenty of lather.

Wash after lathering well to reduce friction between hair and scalp. Massage your scalp with your fingers.

  • (3) Rinse thoroughly.

Soap scum left on the hair and skin can cause stickiness and poor texture. Rinse carefully with plenty of hot water.

  • ④Rinse hair thoroughly.

Rinse to close cuticles and break up soap scum. After thoroughly rinsing the entire hair, rinse well.

From the Development Manager

This shampoo produces plenty of voluminous foam. After repeated consideration of the rinsing action, we decided on a simple formula that uses three soap ingredients to wash the hair, because the feeling of cleanliness was compromised. The fragrance is a combination of cool, refreshing rosemary and deep patchouli. The fragrance matches the clean, refreshing wash of the soap.

Q&A

What are the features of soap shampoo?

Soap combines with minerals (calcium and magnesium) in the water to form soap scum with no cleaning power. Some of the soap becomes soap scum during foaming and use, and all of it becomes soap scum when it meets large amounts of water during rinsing. The fact that it loses its cleaning power quickly through rinsing also means that it easily loses its irritating elements to the skin. For starters, this is the advantage of soap shampoo. Also, even if the soap scum were to end up in the river as wastewater, it will be finally decomposed by microorganisms into water and carbon dioxide in up to two weeks. Another advantage of soap shampoo is that it does not place an excessive burden on the natural environment.

I used "amino acid soap shampoo" and my hair became stiff.

The cause of stiffness is the weak alkalinity of soap and soap scum. After rinsing, use "Amino Acid Smooth Rinse/Rosemarie's Amino Acid Smooth Rinse" or "Amino Acid Volume Rinse/Rosemarie's Amino Acid Volume Rinse" or "Amino Acid Repair Treatment/Rosemarie's Amino Acid Repair Treatment" to break down soap scum, At the same time, the cuticle is tightened, leaving hair smooth. Soap combines with minerals in water to form soap scum. In addition, shampooing with soap, which is mildly alkaline, slightly opens the cuticles that cover the hair in a scaly pattern. As a result, hair tends to tangle with each other when shampooing with soap. This is the cause of the creaking and stiffness of soap shampoo. Please be assured that it does not damage your hair.

Why is it that amino acid soap shampoos are sometimes unsuitable for permed or colored hair?

When hair is damaged by perms or coloring (cuticles have peeled off), excessive soap scum will get into the peeled cuticles, causing a noticeable creakiness and stiffness. While soap shampoos are quick to release lather, soap scum remains in the hair after the lather has dissipated, so careful rinsing is necessary. However, permed/color-treated hair is difficult to rinse out, and excessive soap scum left on the hair can itself make the hair finish look heavy. In addition, soap scum is broken down by the acidic components of special rinses and treatments, returning to fatty acids, which are the raw materials of soap. Since fatty acids are oils, they can also cause sticky hair. On the other hand, while permed or color-treated hair may be used without problems, basically, soap shampoos are not compatible with permed or color-treated hair, so products are labeled "may not be compatible.
