We have decided to change the cushioning material included with your order from September 11, 2023 (Monday). From now on, we will use "recycled cushioning material" which is cut into the corrugated cardboard box (inner box) used as product packaging material by a cushioning material manufacturing machine.
Matsuyama Oil and Fat mainly packs its bottled products in an inner box and then in an outer box to prevent damage. Although the inner box is not damaged or soiled, it cannot be reused as an inner box because the product name is printed on it and the manufacturing identification number and other information is attached on a sticker. Therefore, we decided to install a cushioning material manufacturing machine at our Yamanashi Distribution Center and reuse the inner boxes as cushioning materials.
We ask for your understanding and cooperation in our efforts to use usable materials without wasting them.
Please note that recycled cushioning material may have a sticker with a manufacturing identification number or other information.
The recycled cushioning material is placed on the bottom of the shipping box and is delivered without direct contact with the ordered items.
Recycled cushioning material will not be used for gift wrapping (including gift sets).
