On Thursday, April 2, we launched a limited-edition "Bamboo Charcoal" series. This collection features five items—including soap and body wash—that harness the power of bamboo charcoal to absorb pore impurities and excess sebum. The bamboo charcoal used in these products is sourced from abandoned bamboo groves in Anan City, Tokushima Prefecture, and is carefully produced by firing in kilns that reach temperatures exceeding 1,000°C. The resulting charcoal features a surface riddled with countless microscopic pores, providing excellent absorption capabilities. Inspired by the charcoal itself, the fragrance blends patchouli essential oil—often described as having an ink-like scent—with eucalyptus and tea tree essential oils, creating a clean, clear, and refreshing impression. *Note: The essential oil blend itself does not contain bamboo charcoal.
