Untold Story of Product Development
Q1: Why did you choose the Blue Lemon Lemon scent?
At the same time last year, we launched a product containing blue yuzu essential oil, which was very well received. This year, too, we were looking for a way to bring you a refreshing product that would be suitable for the summer season, and when we learned that green lemons are harvested in Ehime Prefecture before they ripen to yellow, we decided to develop a product. Yellow lemons have a fresh aroma with a gentle sweetness, whereas green lemons have a crisp, fresh aroma. In all of our green lemon products, we use a portion of the essential oil extracted from green lemons produced in Ehime Prefecture. 
Q2: What points were you particular about in product development?
We developed two wash items (washing soap bar and hand soap) to cleanse the skin in the summer, when people tend to sweat and their skin becomes sticky. The washing ingredients, soap, do not leave any residue on the skin, so the skin can be washed clean and refreshed. In addition, as an ingredient to condition the skin, we have added an extract made by soaking the rind of green lemon in subterranean water from Mt. The grains that you see in the washing soap bar are powdered green lemon rind. We would be happy if you could feel the scent of Green Graduates not only from the fragrance but also from the appearance of the soap.
Q3: What were some of the challenges you faced during the development of this product?
We went through a lot of trial and error to create a blend of aromas that would bring out the unique greenness of green lemons. By combining the citrusy aroma of blue-green lace and the clean impression of eucalyptus, we were able to create a blend that has a broad aroma and a more invigorating feel. In addition, we have also created a balance of essential oils in each product so that the aroma of the Blue Lemon Lemon stands out most in each product.
Q4: In what kind of situations and moods do you want people to use your products?
The Washing Soap Bar is perfect for bath time to cleanse sweaty skin. It is also recommended for washing your face when you wake up in the morning. Hand soap is perfect for when you get home, before cooking, or when you want to refresh yourself. This is the season when the heat and humidity increases and the mind and body can easily feel tired. Please enjoy the refreshing scent of green lemon for a pleasant time of refreshment. 
Following last year's popular green yuzu fragrance, this year a new green lemon fragrance will be available. The new scent will be available in limited quantities, so be sure to get your hands on it soon.
