On June 5 (Thu), we launched "Cool Body Soap" and "Cool Body Care Mist" to enjoy a cool feeling. However, "Cool" by Hokuroku Sosui is more than just cool and refreshing. The fragrance is a combination of three kinds of essential oils: Japanese mint, rosemary, and grapefruit. It is a light fragrance that combines the coolness, crispness of herbs, and fresh fruitiness into one. As the humidity increases in the coming season, the cool fragrance and comfort will make you feel comfortable when you wash and moisturize your skin. A spray is also available to take with you when you go out.

Recent summers have been extremely hot and humid. We developed this product because we wondered if we could offer an item that would make people feel comfortable even in such a situation. We chose two items: a body soap that refreshes and cleanses the skin during the season when sweat and stickiness are a concern, and a body care mist that can be easily used in various situations, such as after bathing and on the go.
Q2: What is the difference between "Seasonal Wa-Usuka" and the cool type?
Seasonal Wa-Usuki " has a refreshing fragrance with a hint of sweetness from Wa-Usuki and lavender essential oil, giving it a mild, refreshing feeling. The cool type, on the other hand, combines Japanese mint with grapefruit and rosemary essential oils to create a refreshing citrus scent. Menthol has been added to the formula to provide a firmer cooling sensation.
Q3: What are the special features of the cool type, and what were the most important points in its development?
As a product with the name "cool," we aimed to provide a firm cooling sensation, and to make the product so pleasant to use that people would want to pick it up only on hot days. We designed the body soap to feel cool after rinsing off, and the body care mist to feel cool immediately after spraying or after a little time has passed. The fragrance of Japanese Perilla alone is refreshing enough, but by adding the fresh fruitiness of grapefruit and the crisp scent of rosemary, we have created a light and positive impression that is more than just cool and refreshing.
Q4: Who should use the cool type and in what situations?
We recommend it for people who want to refresh their skin in summer, when perspiration and stickiness are a concern. The body soap is perfect for showering before going out. Body care mist can be sprayed on the inside of the neck and elbows after wiping off sweat before entering an air-conditioned room to spread a cool and refreshing feeling more pleasantly. We would be happy to make you feel as comfortable as possible even on a day with strong sunlight or hot and humid weather.
